“Republicans for Ignatieff”: Epic Logic Fail

July 9, 2009

If “Republicans for Ignatieff” really was aimed at supporters of the Republicans and Conservatives, then why would Social Democratic Northern BC Dipper be receiving their e-mails without signing up for them!?

Jeez, if you are trying to scare the bejeezus out the Canadian left in regards to Iggy, at least send e-mail from a pretend left-winger.

Never signed up to get email updates either, but there one was when I checked my email this morning.

From what I’ve heard, it seems that many left-leaning bloggers are getting ’em. Haven’t heard anything from any BT’s, though.

That’s funny. Dippers should listen to Republicans because Republicans are so wise that they know what is best for you.

Yeah, I guess humans should listen to the Daleks, as they know what is best for us. 😉

Your cavalier attitude towards the public’s ability to figure out political dynamics is interesting.

Positioning theory would conclude that the American Democratic party has already defined itself in the minds of Canadian voters. This holds especially true with the massive amount of publicity Obama has generated.

I say go for it however. As a federal Liberal I would enjoy seeing your party inevitably move closer to the centre.
