Dennis MacKay Apologizes For Burning Water Comments

May 5, 2008

Sometimes we all make mistakes.  Like BC MLA Dennis MacKay, who claimed in the BC Legislature that the local water of Telkwa, BC, was safe to drink, yet could be lit on fire with a match because of methane seeping from coal deposits. Interestingly enough, the local residents haven’t run into this phenomenon, and thus have become rather upset at MacKay’s remarks.

So MacKay did the proper thing when one makes a mistake, and apologized.  Personally, I believe it shows strength of character from MacKay to do that.

Oh, wait. Never mind.
