Dion’s Saskatchewan Switcharoo

January 3, 2008

It’s looks as if Dion has prevented somebody of questionable party loyalty from getting the nomination of Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River by appointing somebody of questionable party loyalty.

    “Questionable party loyalty”????

Funny that David Orchard was good and loyal enough to deliver just enough delegates to get Dion the leadership. Funny that David Orchard was loyal enough to stick to Dion after the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ballots. His delegates could have easily been directed to support someone else. But they stayed LOYAL.

As a long time liberal, I am very dissappointed.

I hope Dion loses, and loses badly. If that’s what it takes for the liberals to return to the leadership race stage, so be it.

Dion and his cronies can sure laugh now.

I am sure David Orchard will have the last laugh. And so will I. Bring on the election!

I don’t quite see how trying to affect the outcome of a leadership race shows party loyalty, myself.
