Brilliant Distribution

October 24, 2007

Boost BC is a program launched by the BC Government to educate parents about new rules requiring children under 9 to sit in a booster seat when in a car. A part of this program gave low-income parents free booster seats.

Sounds good, huh?

Unfortunately, it seems that there were a few distribution problems. It seems that the booster seats went to BC Liberal constituency offices for distribution. Funny thing was, no BC NDP constituency offices received free booster seats to give out.

Well, first of all, I have to question the wisdom of using constituency offices controlled by politicians at all to give booster seats to low income families.

But, if you have to use constituency offices, at least make sure that both parties get some booster seats so that both parties can have the opportunity to have a nice photo-op.
