Hopefully This CBC Merger Talk Story…

June 8, 2010

Is either a massive misquote or something coming from some fantasy agenda of Warren Kinsella’s.

After all, over the past few years, the Liberals have proven themselves to be arrogant, corrupt, internally divided, and untrustworthy. Why would New Democrats want to merge with such an entity?

Sure, there is always room for a coalition agreement after an election for the purposes of better serving Canadians, making Parliament work, and enacting parts of a New Democrat agenda, but anything beyond that, such as some agreement to not run New Democrat candidates in certain ridings or a merger should be very much out of the question.

I wonder if some Liberal supporters want a merger so that they can stop the rise of the NDP instead of the Conservatives.

If there were a new Liberal-Democratic Party, a new New Democratic Party would need to be created.

I’m not a Liberal or a Liberal Democrat, and I hope to call the NDP my political home for years to come. A party that supports the budget bill that came through today does not look like an even remotely possible option.

Fuddle duddle. Merge and get on with things that need to be done… like protecting the environment, people and other creatures.

Oemissions, the merger is not going to do any of that. The official opposition doing some work in the House would have helped.

Would we be better off, if the Western Provinces separated from the east? I read, we would be 40% better off. The west tax dollars would stay in the west. We would not have to contend with a monsters like, Campbell, Hansen and the BC Liberal Party. This province has been, utterly financially ruined. Now the Liberals are flooding the beautiful Peace country, and destroying the most prime farmland in Canada. Is the hydro for Arnie S. from California? Or for the Alberta tar sands? They want to dump toxic mine waste into Fish Lake, which will leach into the eco system. Every animal and fish that use that lake, will die. The Liberals, want to bring in dirty oil tankers from China. There is still oil collecting on the rocks, from the Valdez spill 20 years ago. Even worse, they want to drill off shore oil and gas wells. When that spill happens, everything in the oils path will perish. People from all over, come to see our beautiful Orca whales, and the gorgeous BC coast. Then the destruction of BC will be absolute. We live in a dictatorship and, it matters not if anything is legal, a dictator doesn’t care. The HST wasn’t legal. Campbell’s re-election wasn’t legal, selling the BC Railroad, wasn’t legal. The assets and natural resources, belonged to the people, not to Campbell, he had no right to put his dirty hands on any of our assets. The entire Liberal government in BC, is based on, lies, deceit, broken promises, corruption, fraud, convicted criminals. How many BC Liberal Ministers are under investigation now? There have been so many, I have lost count over the years. The BC Liberals, had to lie and cheat to win. It is disgusting, they are proud of themselves, for doing so.

Can’t say I’m really sure how that relates to the federal Liberal – federal NDP merger talk story, I’m afraid.

Anyone thinking the NDP would merge with the Federal Liberals, would be a great surprise, I doubt that would ever happen. Citizens are not very enchanted with Harper, and becoming less so. The NDP, may think they could win an election, on their own. Iggy, they say, will never win the election. The BC Liberals, are said to actually be, Conservatives. Who knows, you don’t have to be crazy, to understand Canadian politics, but it helps.
